
Since 2023, Compass GBS has explored our capabilities to enter the Government Food Service Program. We are proud to have built over the past two years an excellent team of food service professionals, established relationships with Randolph Sheppard Act Vendors, and worked to combine our detailed Project Management Oversight expertise with an expert Food Service Team that has both Active Duty Military and Contractor experience.
The Compass GBS Team has experience in Government Dining Facility Management on board operational Navy and Coast Guard units (both land and sea-going), as well as overseas Army Forward Operating Bases in Afghanistan and stateside Government Brigs and MESS Hall for USMC Camp Lejeune, NC.
In addition, we bring years of GM and management experience across multiple Civilian Food Service Establishments.
Our team focuses on both exceptional customer service and training and certification with an understanding of the Government Food Service Program Manual, the Tri-Service Food Code, the Navy Food Service Manual, and other specific regulations associated with DOD and DHS service requirements.
We lead from the front, with a dedicated Project Management Team assigned starting from Sources Sought and Proposal Writing, through Contract Acceptance, Implementation, and Sustainment phases of the Food Service Project. We believe in five-star service for our customers, including 24/7 touchpoint management that is well-versed in the details and intricacies of each contract.
